Skins clip- Effy and Tony (Season 1 episode 1)

Tony:   

• Typical nudity in his room (the naked man and woman bed sheet)- He's sat in the middle of the bed, could show confusion between sexuality
• Perfected bed cover in the morning 
• Interested in sex
• Tidy bedroom- ordered 
• High angle shot (as scene begins) 
• Simple designed bedroom 
• A lot of white- plain, could symbolize personality 
• Very organised, not very stereotypical of a teenager 
• Neatly folded clothing 
• Used too Effy sneaking out all the time (loud music routine) 
• Reading an academic novel on the toilet (not very normal for teenager too do) 
• Purposely annoying/annoys his dad (very devious) 
• Calculates how too annoy his dad 
• Jump cuts used at the beginning as well (when he does his workout and weights)  

 Effy:   

• Slutty outfit- appears cheap and conveys a lack of self respect 
• Smudged make up conveying a rough night out (even on a school night) 
• Looks easy
• Pans out onto Effy from a hedge hen she's walking up towards her house, revealing the contrast between the two characters 
• Typically girly room- surprising too the audience (un-expected)
•  Pink, yellow, blue- alot of bright colors  could show that her parents believe that she's still a sweet, innocent little girl. 
• Pink fairy lights and a teddy bear on the door, showing her child-like features 
• Quite messy and dark, resembling that she's quite reserved
